STORY / Mike Smith
With the big game just around the corner I wanted to show you one of my favorite sides to bring to the party. A few years back I went to a “Big Game” party and tried some buffalo chicken dip for the first time. I couldn’t put it down! When I asked how to make it I got the usual, “Oh, it’s really easy, I’ll send you the recipe.” Usually I would write that off as, It has more then 3 steps, don’t even try it. But I’m here to tell you that it really is easy to make so let me show you how!
2 (10 ounces) cans chunk Chicken, DRAINED (or a Rotisserie Chicken!)
¾ cup Hot Sauce
2 (8 ounces) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup ranch dressing
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 stalk green onions
To serve: 1 bunch celery, cleaned and cut into 4’ pieces + 1 box crackers + chips (optional)
First, let’s make some beer brats.
Chicken and hot sauce in a skillet over medium heat until the sauce is ingrained in the chicken.
Cream cheese and ranch dressing into the skillet. Make sure it doesn’t stick to the pan.
Half the cheese and transfer to a slow cooker once melted.
Remaining cheese on top and cook on low until it starts bubbling.
Green onion and put on top. Now, serve with celery, crackers, or chips!
